Logan turns to Peterborough, but not alone

Richard Logan was recalled to Peterborough United before the clash with Mansfield but didn't travel alone. The striker was joined by Keith Alexander and Gary Simpson who were spotted by several Peterborough fans during their emphatic 4-1 victory over Bury on Monday afternoon.

Keith Alexander has been a long time target by Peterborough but that interest appeared over when Mark Wright was appointed manager of the Posh. However, whether that is the reason Keith went to that game or to watch Logan more is something that will worry Imps fans, especially because Keith didn't make an attempt to go to Mansfield to see how the Imps do and despite being "on leave", many Imps fans will be surprised that Keith and Gary went to a totally different game.

Logan appears to have played his last game for the Imps and he did relatively well during his loan period, however, he is too similar to strikers that we already have at the club and whether Keith, or indeed a new manager does bring him back, seems unlikely.
