Roe and Cooke resign

If you though the recent problems at the club were over, Keith Roe and Kevin Cooke resigned on Tuesday evening. Roe has come under major critisism following last weeks' incidences and just as it appears that things were returning to normal, along comes another spanner to throw "into the works"

After Ray Trew resigned last week, the news that Roe has now gone and Kevin Cooke has stepped down as a directory now means there are very few directors left and the effects of all the recent resignations could soon be felt and Steff Wright defination has a hard job on his hands. The following statement was released on www.redimps.com on Tuesday night.

Following a Board meeting this evening (Tuesday 10 January 2006), the following announcements are made:

Director Keith Roe has left the Board. The Board would like to place on record its appreciation of the contribution that Keith has made to the Club over many years.

It is also announced that Director Kevin Cooke has stepped down from his duties as director, but will continue on the Board as Company Secretary.

The Board would like to thank the loyal supporters of Lincoln City Football Club for their patience during what has been a very traumatic period for us all. The Board are unanimous in their support for Keith Alexander and his management team and we all now look forward to a successful second half to the season.
