Green horrorshow sends the Imps to the bottom

Imps striker Francis Green took well over 4 minutes to complete the "Soccer Night Extra" feature, "A Load of Balls". Green's time of 4 minutes 13 seconds was mainly due to several penalties against the Imps' player and the time, a full 40 seconds behind Pawel Abbot, sees City bottom.

For those who don't know what "A Load of Balls" is, several balls are situated in a semi circular formation around the edge of the penalty box and you have to get them all in as soon as possible, the only catch is, if you miss, you have to get the ball back, take it to the original point and try it again. Penalties are in 5 second slots are given is the ball touches the ground before entering the goal or if a player throws the ball back to the nominee to try and save the player time.

Green actually started fairly well and made easy work off one of the hardest balls, although it did bounce so Green incurred a penalty. Green looked confident about the 2nd ball despite having the other players throw potatoes at him because of his nickname (Mr Potato Head), however, the second ball was the definate stumbling block as Green had no fewer than 4 attempts at it, gaining a 5 second penalty for the ball being thrown back, however, he was still making good time. Green breezed through the next few. Another player threw the ball back on ball 6 with penalties totally 10 seconds. However, the final ball saw 7 attempts and 6 penalties meaning Green finished on a rather unimpressive 4 minutes 13.

City currently sit bottom of the table, 40 seconds behind the funny efforts of Huddersfield's Pawel Abbott. Chesterfield sit top of the table and out of all the league sides in Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, as well as Mansfield and Chesterfield, only Leeds, Mansfield, Rotherham, Sheffield United, Sheffield Wednesday and Boston United haven't attempted the challenge.
