Hawley will be fit to play the Imps.

The division's top scorer, Karl Hawley will be fit to face the Imps on Saturday despite a head injury sustained on Saturday. It will come as bad news to the Imps as they prepare to face one of the more intimidating offensive line ups in League 2 and Hawley will be partnered by Michael Bridges.

Bridges and Hawley are a dangerous combintion when playing together and tore Boston apart a few weeks ago as the Cumbrians won 5-0 at York Street, one of three 5-0 victories in 2006 so far. However, the Imps have started finding the net on a regular basis and have they have only failed to score once this season, the 0-0 away draw at Mansfield, a result that most Lincoln fans would take now.

It was confirmed this afternoon that Hawley when Carlisle physio, Nick Dalton revealed the following on the Cumbrian's official website.

""We got the doctor to check him out at half-time and he was quite happy that he carried on. Unfortunately, his vision didn't quite come back to where it should have been so we had to take him off. He was fine later on that day and will train fully this week, so will be available for the game on Saturday."

City haven't conceeded a goal in the last 3 meetings between the sides and the only goal in the meeting before those came in the 92nd minute and it was merely a consolation as it reduced City's win to just 4-1. If City can prevent Carlisle scoring at home for the first time since November 26th, it would mean that the Imps would have a great chance to cement a position in the playoffs, that is a very big IF though.
