Part 5, quality at the expense of quantity

In our final review of all the season review DVDs, we take a look at a DVD that is the season in microcosm. As the season went on, there was less and less that made the price worth while and the only saving grace on Part 5 of the season review is that it lasts longer than the rest.

The DVD only features 2 wins, away to Wycombe and Shrewsbury and features 3 defeats including both playoff games against Grimsby and overall, the footage is quite good and the DVD lasts much longer than the other 4 DVDS but this means that there are no extras whatsoever, making the initial £14.95 price tag a bit tedious.

One thing about the DVD that is a welcome inclusion is commentary on most of the games and the away game at Wycombe, features commentary from the Wycombe commentators and it leads to some amusing comments. The home commentary isn't particulary thrilling but is definately a step up from the "uninterested bystander" style used in the Grimsby DVD.

Overall, it's not a bad DVD but an extra half an hour doesn't make up for no extras and I'm sure a lot of fans would have liked to have seen more of the Q&A sessions and stuff like that but even the "Top 5 Goals" extra isn't there. I still feel there should have been a single end of season review with the highlights on one disk and several on the other but oh well, it'll be interesting to see what we get next year.
