| This
season there has been a slight change in the rules. The Jackson Cup will
be confined to teams in the Derbyshire Premier League and the Derbyshire
County League Division 1 or other equivalent Leagues. The rule which compelled
winners of the Butterley Cup to play in the Jackson Cup for two years has
been abandoned. As a result 14 teams will contest the Jackson Cup and 28
teams will play in the Butterley Cup.
