Breaking news, Arsene Wenger has issued a statement confirming his commitment to Arsenal. Although he expresses sadness at Dein’s departure saying that his heart is red and white, he also makes it clear he has a good relationship with the present board of directors.
He states that his links remain strong with the club “My position is that I am linked with the club very strongly,” said the 57-year-old. “The relationship with the rest [of the Board] has always been very good and we try always to have a good understanding.”
This is great news for Arsenal fans, but will probably not put a stop to some of the sillier press and pundit speculation.
