Spur's Hoddle to return?

With Hoddle turning down West Bromwich Albion manager's job this week could it be he has something else lined up? Southampton's defeat in the Lager Cup by Watford could see him and Mystic Meg re-employed.

When Wigley's Southampton visited Arsenal and got a draw he was hailed as a tactical genius and leader of men. Indeed Rupert Lowe must have been as pissed off as Arsenal fans at the turn of events - for Wigley's success had delayed the return of Hoddle. However normal service has been resumed with the Saints losing to Watford in the Lager Cup.

With Hoddle turning down WBA I am pretty certain that my theory is about to be proven and this time Saints fans will not resist - see the story below:

"Last year when the Saints visited the Arsenal they got a round of applause from the Clock End. Not for their football, but because their fans sang if you hate Glen Hoddle clap your hands. I doubt if they will sing that this time, their present manager makes Glen look an attractive option.
So what is going on? Only a year ago they got to the Cup Final. The Saints haven't scored for 4 Premiership matches in a row, true Beattie is injured, but it must be more to do with the fact that Rupert Lowe appointed Steve Wigley Manager. The man must have had a charisma bypass he is so awful.

Now Lowe has appointed more managers than the post war Italian Government had Prime Ministers, so why doesn't he put the poor sod out of his misery?

It's a mystery - but I think I know the answer and it's playing in the West End right now - the Producers. Remember the plot - create the worst possible musical - but instead of Hitler in fishnet stockings you have Wigley- the musical loses money and goes bankrupt. What's the point of that, well it's all about tax breaks and making off with the punters money.

I don't think Lowe intends to bankrupt the Saints - but hey- if things get bad enough the fans will put up with having Hoddle back. Yup poor old Wigley is the fall guy but hasn't got the brains to see it coming."

Indeed the dear chap was on Sky Sports News stating he was not a quitter, thats not the point - he is about to be shafted.
