In an interview with Arsenal Plus Wenger believed Arsenal are back on track and that the quality has returned, true they only got one goal against Newcastle, but most importantly the chances were created.

He admitted the team had let in more goals than he would like, but that’s the way Arsenal play, an open game that does risk allowing the opposition chances.

Wenger is also confident that he can cope without Kolo, Senderos is injured and not an option. Wenger also intends to play a strong team against Wolves, so Henry’s winter break is curtailed. Wenger was full of praise for Glenda as a player at Monaco but felt it was a pity he turned out to be such an asshole as a human being (I made the second bit up). Blimey Arsenal Plus they should call it Arsenal Less, half the interview was on the wonders of Glenda, pass the sick bag. I want half my money back.

Oh yes the Preview. I suspect Glenda has learnt the lesson of his semi-final thrashing when he briefly managed Spurs. I often wonder what would have happened if Graham had remained manager, I think we would have still of won, but not the cakewalk it proved to be. So expect a pressing game, and one man up, but Lehmann will have to watch out for long range shots from the Seol man. Wenger believes Hoddle has tactical nous, and that Wolves are playing well, he is taking this match very seriously. Hence Henry’s leave is cancelled. He will almost certainly rest Bergkamp, and make a few changes at the back. Ljunberg might return, but Vieira will play.
