Dennis Bergkamp hasn’t a clue whether he will be at Arsenal next season or not. He will not be discussing his future with Arsene Wenger for at least another few weeks, probably not until after the cup final.

He would like to carry on playing for Arsenal, but he doesn’t know whether Arsene will say positive or negative things to him when they meet. He will also want to know what kind of team will be at Highbury next season, a young one, or one with new players.

So Arsenal fans will have to wait for the season's end before they know if Dennis will stay another year; and then have the testimonial as the last match at Highbury – well that’s the dream
