Sir Alex Ferguson is refusing to believe Arsène Wenger's claims that Thierry Henry will miss Saturday's FA Cup final, and has informed his players not to place any faith in the announcement from Highbury. Ferguson claims he is preparing a team to play Thierry Henry.

Wenger just shrugged off the comments saying does he think we lie here, and repeated that Henry would not be playing. That if Alex wanted to pick a team to face Henry it was ok by him.

Meanwhile there are doubts over Ferguson’s claim that Gary Neville, and Gabriel Heinze would not be playing. Within an hour of Ferguson all but ruling them out the pair were seen trotting out on to the practice ground with the rest of the players. Ferguson is well known for spreading false rumours about injuries before big matches. Perhaps he is judging Wenger by his own rather low standards.

Wenger has said he feels some sympathy with Man U fans over the Glazer take over, whether they demonstrate or not is up to them, but Arsenal are prepared and will not lose focus.
