Arsenal v Man U Preview

Arsenal face the Red Devils tomorrow evening at Highbury, a longly awaited rivals match which should prove to be a brilliant match, we hope.

Tomorrow is the day. Crunch day in many people's opinions. Arsenal face Man U in a must-win game for the Gunners. If Arsenal don't win this, they can certainly say goodbye to the title, although it seems highly unlikely that we will win the title anyway. Pride is at stake here too, Ferguson's army have always been fierce rivals, and always will be to be honest. Unfortunately though, our chances of victory are reduced as our squad is hampered by niggling and long-term injuries. Freddie Ljungberg is a blow as he has caught a nasty virus and is unable to play despite desperate attempts to shake the illness off.

Hopefully Hleb can cover more than adequately in the right midfield, as he has done a few times this season. Van Persie picked up yet another knock this time on his knee against Villa and so is out again, leaving our attack restricted really to Henry, Reyes and Bergkamp. Gilberto is back on the positive side, he has recovered from the knock he caught against Pompey. Wenger has worringly just 3 players in central midfield: Flamini, Fabregas and Gilberto. We have also learned that Cole will be returning for intensive training on January 16. He will be working hard to get upto scratch for the beginning of February, while his positionary compatriot Gael Clichy will not be available to mid-March. So, a packed Highbury is expected for tomorrow's game, you can hear all about what happened tomorrow night, sometime before midnight I expect!

Ofcourse if you have Arsenal TV Online there is live audio and live still images. Good luck to the Gunners, let's hope we don't need it though. Henry is a vital figure as usual, if he can use his strength to over power the likes of O'Shea and Wes Brown, it could be a straighforward victory. You never know, anything can happen in English football, especially in the game between these 2 rivals. Come on you Gunners!
