Ready Freddie Go!

Freddie Flintoff has now revealed that he may be fit enough in time for the ICC Trophy, which takes place in India next month. This is the news we have all been waiting for, but is Freddie really ready?

The news everyone has been waiting for has been revealed. Andrew Flintoff could be back for the ICC Trophy, which is being held in India just next month. Freddie (as he is known by all England fans and players) has not played since June as he went in with an ankle injury.

But is Freddie ready? After all he has the added bonus of becoming England captain for the all-important Ashes, and with him being out for England he will need to commit 100%. Being a bowler, batsman and captain cannot be easy, but Freddie is determined to come out a stronger person.

"It's going to be a tough winter. It’s going to be one to be enjoyed, getting the chance to play in the Ashes in Australia and the chance to go to the West Indies, it's a tough challenge but I think it will be the best winter of our lives."

There are many ifs and buts about this, but if anyone can go through something like this and come out the other side a stronger and fitter person, I know it’ll be Freddie Flintoff!
