England expect more from the lower order

England captain Andrew Flintoff hopes that his lower order can cope better in the next test match which begins tomorrow at Trent Bridge. Englands bottom order struggled last time around but Flintoff believes they will cope better this time.

England lost their last 5 wickets for just 5 runs at Edgbaston and hopefully they can cope with the likes of Muttiah Muralitharan.

"You had lads who haven't played against Murali before on a wicket which helped him,"

"They'll know what to expect this week. I'm not expecting hundreds, but we need partnerships down the bottom."

Flintoff also spoke about Sri Lanka being dismissed easily in the last test but thinks they will come out fighting.

"They've got some very talented players and I don't think you can keep on running them over,"

Flintoff also spoke about Michael Vaughan's recent form for his county and that he'd love to see him back as captain.

"I've enjoyed the opportunity to captain my country, but Vaughany's back playing and we want him back as soon as we can," said the Lancashire all-rounder.

The match begins at 11:00 am tomorrow and their will be a match report at the end of the day on the front page.
