Positions 3 and 4 in the Yorkshire Cricket Hall of Fame have been awarded to Sir Len Hutton and Ray Illingworth. In a record poll on this site these two cricketing greats have been elected to join Freddie Trueman and Geoffrey Boycott in the Hall of Fame.

The vote was incredibly tight throughout the polling and Hutton and Illingworth narrowly won the day.

The number of votes cast has been the most in any poll held on this site - thank you for taking the time. The top ten in the vote are shown below: -

HUTTON, Sir Leonard - 20%
ILLINGWORTH, Ray - 18%
RHODES, Wilfred - 16%

BAIRSTOW, David - 5%
WARDLE, Johnny - 4%
BIRD, Harold - 4%

There will be another vote on the site in a month or two - please feel free to nominate the people you think have done the most to further the name of Yorkshire cricket. This can be done on the message board below and we will put all nominations up for the public vote to elect Hall of Fame numbers 5 and 6.
