...be under the expert guidance of top quality coaches like former South African test opener Gary Kirsten. In February Andrew Gale is travelling to Mumbai, India to work hard at developing his game.

James Buttler of The Corridor of Uncertainty website said “Fans on the site come from all over the world. Yorkshire County Cricket Club has the biggest domestic history and support in the first class game. The site is not run to make money - we are just an ever expanding group of supporters who go online to talk about the sport and club we love.

“We see our sponsorship of both Andrew and Joe’s trips as a terrific opportunity to literally put our money where our mouths are. We are not a big business where there are budgets for this sort of thing, these are hardcore Yorkshire fans who are thinking about cricket in the middle of an English winter. They are all opening their own wallets for the future of the club. It will be very satisfying watching these two guys scoring runs this summer. We will all be able to say that we played a small part in their future success.”

Both Joe and Andrew are extremely appreciative of the fans support. Joe said “I cannot thank them enough for their interest in Andrew’s and my development. I’d like to congratulate them on the success of the website and also for being such dedicated followers of the county, hopefully in the coming season we can give them something to cheer about.” Andrew added “I really appreciate the fans help and what they’ve done.”

As a thank you for the website’s support both Joe and Andrew will be providing interviews prior to leaving for their trips. They will also tell Corridor readers of their experiences upon their return and they will stay in touch with The Corridor of Uncertainty throughout the summer.

The Corridor of Uncertainty was launched in July 2006 and is a Yorkshire cricket fansite and online cricket magazine. Fans are able to keep up to date with proceedings at the club, both on and off the field and discuss events on the message board.
