IT WAS AN APRIL FOOL

No, Hoggy is not considering a move north of the border. When he plays one day cricket for anyone it will be for Yorkshire and England, but we are sure he wishes Scotland all the best in this years Twenty20 World Cup.

Although Hoggy was born on New Years Eve 1976 the birth was well within Yorkshire’s county boundary and he is very much a Yorkshire man.

Our April Fool caught a few people out. It hopefully made you smile whether you were fooled or not. On the pitch cricket’s a serious business, but we are supposed to enjoy it and have a bit of fun along the way too.
