It's Spurs for Pascal

Tottenham have completed the signing of Sunderland defender Pascal Chimbonda, for an undisclosed fee. Chimbonda moves to White Hart Lane just six months after leaving Spurs to join Sunderland.

The 29-year-old made 16 appearances for the Black Cats, the last coming against Blackburn in the FA Cup fourth round last Saturday.

Chimbonda moved to Spurs from Wigan in August 2006 and played 98 games for them before switching to Sunderland last July.

The former Le Havre player won the Carling Cup with Tottenham in the 2007-08 season
