Cisse: I do not want to leave

Djibril Cisse has dismissed reports that he wants to leave Sunderland. A weekend newspaper story said that Cisse will quit the Stadium of Light at the end of the season.

But he has denied that he is set to turn his back on the club.

The French striker, 27, signed a one-year loan deal when he moved from Marseille last summer.

Speaking exclusively with SAFC TV, Cisse said: "I was shocked and upset when I read the stories, they are not true. In fact the opposite is true. I have never said that I'm not happy here or that I want to leave."
