Midfield in fitness battle
Kieran Richardson

Sunderland boss Ricky Sbragia may be boosted by the return of Kieran Richardson for Sunderland's Premier League clash with Hull this Saturday. Midfielder Richardson missed the 2-1 defeat by Manchester United last weekend after sustaining a calf injury in training the day before.
The 24-year-old is set to return to training today and hopes to prove his fitness ahead of the next game.
Boss Ricky Sbragia said: "We think Kieran will train this week and we're hoping he will be OK for Saturday."
Club captain Dean Whitehead, who also missed the United game, is hopeful of returning to training before Hull visit Wearside.
The captain injured his calf against West Ham 10 days ago and will remain under observation this week.
"Typical Deano - he tried to get through a fitness test for Saturday but there was no chance," said Sbragia. "He's been better in the last couple of days so we'll see how he is nearer the time."
Defender George McCartney, another calf injury victim, will not be fit to face the Tigers. "By Thursday we should have a full squad, with the exception of George," added Sbragia.

Tainio was awesome against Man U so should definitely keep his place - just hope he stays fit for the rest of the season.

Probably should be, but that's where the software defaults it to... may change it when I've got it all working correctly.
