CLOSES 20 MARCH 2007 - LAST FEW DAYS. Ged presents an extra mini competition for those of you who like puzzles. It is based on the test players test competition recently completed. Pit your wits against the puzzlemeister, Peter Cox. Good luck everyone.
LAST FEW DAYS - THIS COMPETITION CLOSES 20 MARCH 2007. Many of
you enjoyed the Middlesex Test Player Test Competition.
But one
thing bothered me throughout the game – I was sure it must be possible to fit
all of those players into a smaller grid than 19x26. See solution below.
Naturally
I was too polite to mention this to Peter Cox.
Self-preservation also came into play here – he is bigger than me an
anyway would simply have challenged me to “prove it”.
Well, I can tell that those of you with a crossword
or indeed any sort of puzzle bent are salivating at the chance to prove me
right here.
So, one
of those famous small MTWD prizes is available for the person who can supply
this same priceless collection of players in the smallest puzzle grid possible.
I am away
