Seasonal Photo Quiz Part One (of Three)

Come In No 6
By Darren Gosling
December 21 2010

This year's seasonal quiz has kindly been submitted by Darren Gosling.  It's a photo competition - all you have to do is identify the 25 current or former Middlesex players shown in the pictures.  In Part One, you have to identify the first eight of these.

We are most grateful to Darren Gosling for this year's seasonal quiz.

He has submitted 22 photos, containing pictures of 25 current and former Middlesex players.  All the pictures were taken between 2008 and 2010.

Not even the moderators have seen the answers, so we can play too - for pride anyway.

Part One is the first eight photos, which in this round simply contain one player in each picture.

Submit your answers to:

mtwdadmin@googlemail.com

...no later than 30 December 2010.  Part Two will be uploaded around about that time. [...Stop Press on 31 December - the deadline has been extended to 11 January for all three parts - see Part Two of the quiz for details]

In the event of a tie, Darren will hastily arrange some sort of tie-breaker.

Good luck, everyone.

Thanks Darren for taking these photos.

I look forward to entering the competition, something I will do when I get round to it.

I would like to think that I am able to get eight out of eight this week then eventually 25 out of 25, although I will probably have to work hard if I am going to do so.

Just to remind everyone that you have a few more days to compete Part One of this quiz.

It's fun I can assure you - I'm one of the handful of people who have entered so far.

It's also not completely straightforward - I'll be surprised if anyone gets all the answers right - especially not to all three parts of the quiz.

Oh, and there is a miniscule prize up for grabs, unless I win of course in which case I'm not bothering to send a prize to myself.

Following several requests from punters asking for more time and also asking to submit all three parts of their responses together, we are keeping parts one and two open until all three parts have been published. Part Three will go up over the weekend and responses to all three parts should be submitted no later than 23:11 on 11 January 2011.

People who have already submitted answers to part one can resubmit their answers if they wish to do so once they have seen the rest of the pictures, not that I think that will help any!
