A christmas quiz

Something for you to think about in between all the eating and drinking

This is a fiendish crossword (or not!) - your Christmas present from Barmier Kev and the London Leprechaun. Answers please by midnight 31 December to MTWD admin where the usual miniscule prize awaits the winner. The crossword is an image so you should be able to download and print it if you want. Otherwise send the answers in list form. One extra fiendish element. One clue has one too many letters in the grid. But it does not affect any other answers!

If there is a tie the winner will be decided by a tie break. So please send your own cryptic clue to which the answer is Middlesex CCC and the Middlesex Factor Panel will decide the winner.

Enjoy!

A further clue to the answers they have all played for Middlesex CCC over the past 150 years.

Please submit your answers to mtwdadmin@googlemail.com or PM me.

Many thanks to London Leprechaun for trying to create the grid in a user friendly format. If you do have problem with viewing the image, let me know and I'm happy to email you a (hopefully) more user friendly version.

I need to point out to make quiz more challenging the answer that fits to 7 down spells the name with an L missing. I hope this doesn't detract too much from your enjoyment of completing quiz.

A reminder we are very close to end of the year, which will signal end of this competition.

Judging by hits on thread there has been plenty of browsing.

Many thanks for the "miniscule prize", Kev. Trust you didn't have to go to Australia specially to get Finny's signature?
