Abdul Ra-sacked

Middlesex today confirmed that Abdul Razzaq has had his contract for the rest of the year terminated by the county. He has now returned to Pakistan. For the official statement, read on.

ABDUL RAZZAQ RETURNS HOME

Due to lack of match fitness, Middlesex have agreed to release Abdul Razzaq from the remainder of this season's contract. Razzaq flew back to play against Lancashire last week taking 2 wickets for 170 in 29 overs and scoring 22 and 25.

Joe Dawes is currently out with a knee injury and Sven Koenig has a finger injury, although both are hoping to play against Sussex.
