Our reporter at the ground, Janet, reports on Day Three's action. Her report is mercifully (under the circumstances) short and sweet. Janet's report provides insight into her travelling fan arrangements and a brief overview.

I got to the ground very early as my brother had a dental appointment. I really luxuriated in my brothers home as they had had a new bathroom fitted with a fabulous 'power shower'. Where my brother lives there is NO traffic noise, however the 'dawn chorus' is exceedingly loud!

Don Shelley again got me a ticket.

The team had an insurmountable mountain to climb given the arrears, and I thought that they did admirably making Hants bat again. They all seemed pretty confident against Warne and all got starts. I asked Ben Scott lunchtime about his innings as he seemed to be reading Warne quite well. He said it was a combination of Warne's 'other one' and a lapse of concentration.

Louw hit the only 6 of the match, can't remember off which bowler (might have been Masceranas), and Ali had his usual bright and breezy knock, and was again 'not out'. If he carries on like that maybe they will put him up the order?

So it was a drubbing but lets look for the positives. Warne may have taken 7 wickets, but by and large our 'boys' played him pretty confidently and all got a 'start' even if they were out in the 30's. Lessons have been learnt I am sure, and as the song says 'The only way is up'.

What the team wants now is our backing, not criticism. They know what needs to be done
