Unhappy Days: Out on le-Street
Come Back Sven
By The Diamond
May 13 2006
The Diamond tells us how it was for him, his Mrs and some other woman named Gabby. We learn about Diamond, Mrs Diamond, this Gabby creature, football, Ealing Shopping Centre........and the match (more or less).
Saturday dawned bright and clear in London, I wondered if it was pouring down in Durham to give us some chance of a result, it seemed it was not and also not to be.
It seems that The Diamond has a Life, although not as we know it

Had a few jobs to do in the morning and decided to get them away nice and early , really peed the neighbours off when I fired the lawn mower up at 7.00am in the morning , well it had to be done didn’t it , the mighty Middlesex were on later .
Up to the bank to put in this weeks wages, forgot to put the cheque in yesterday due to listening to the test on the radio, fool! Had a bit of retail therapy round Smiths in Ealing and drove home thinking of Middlesex , I lie , Gabby Yorath/Logan was presenting Fighting Talk on Five Live and I fancy the pants off her , shame she’s married to a Jock rugby player .
Back to the Cricket

Wickets started to fall the moment I got home and I really lost the will to live. The chances of a revival disappeared when Scottie went for less than 150 and the writing was not only on the wall but dried by the time the Cup Final warm up started.
Or is it football?

Time to go get a bottle of wine or three and settle to watch the final. What a game that was, really sorry that West Ham lost but Liverpool proved their class once again.
It seems that Mrs Diamond also has a life
