Owais Shah continued his good form from yesterday in todays rain affected first day against Northants with an unbeaten 78. Ben Hutton chipped in with 69 as Middlesex recoved from losing Koenig (8) and Strauss (43) to finish on 206/2 when the rain came after tea.
