Strauss Expects England to Shine

England Cricket Captain Andrew Strauss is expecting his side to come back at South Africa, when the second test gets underway at Headingley today. England were soundly beaten at the Oval, taking only two wickets in the match, and know they need to improve if they are to stay number one in the world.....

Nottinghamshire's James Taylor is expected to take his place at number six, ashe follows Ravi Bopara and Jonny Bairstow in a troublesome batting slot for England.

Strauss said ahead of the match "We've always bounced back well from defeats in the past and I expect us to do so again this week."

"We have put that Oval game to bed and we're looking forward to what are going to be very different conditions." The England skipper concluded.

Coach Andy Flower was the man leading the inquest after the Oval debacle, and said

Flower said: "We were completely outplayed in that first Test."

"The big job ahead of us is to come back strong and see if we can equal the score in the series." Flower summed up.
