A report in the Mail on Sunday has hinted that is was indeed South Africa that has leeked information to the press, regarding the text message scandal, which look to have ended Kevin Pietersen's England career.....
A series of bombshells has hit the media in the past ten days, surrounding 'provocative' text messages that Pietersen has sent over to some of his South African buddies.
Some of which are set to insult England Cricket Captain Andrew Strauss, with others said to help the visitors on how to dismiss the left handed batsman.
Although Pietersen is yet to offer his full version of what exactly was in the texts, new leeks have emerged with the exact content, now it would seem the 'mole' is indeed from the South African camp.
A section on the Daily Mail website said "The Mail on Sunday has learned the source of the original texts leak is a member of the official South Africa tour party, despite denials."
if the allegations are true that Pietersen did indeed assist South Africa, or simply tell them the best way to dismiss Strauss, then he will be finished as an England player, he will never be trusted again in the England team dressing room.
Pietersen's week went from bad to worse on Sunday, when he was dismissed for a first ball duck for Surrey, in their CB40 game at his old club, Hampshire. To add insult to injury, he was booed, and jeered, to and from the wicket.
