England will visit Alice Springs during their tour down under in November 2013, as their warm up match with an Australia Chairmans XI, has been moved from Canberra due to resurfacing at the Manuka Oval....
It will be hot for the England players, as they will face temperatures of up to 35 degrees for the two day warm up game.
Australia Cricket spokesman Andrew Ingleton told BBC Sport: "When we were informed that Canberra could not host this year's Chairman's XI fixture, we wanted to bring the match to an iconic part of Australia"
"Alice Springs, set against the backdrop of the MacDonnell Ranges, is an iconic part of our great country and an ideal setting for the game."
The game is taking place between the first and second Ashes test matches, and will be held on 29th and 30th November 2013.
