Cook out of Tour Opener

England captain Alastair Cook is out of England's opening warm up game in Australia, as the team start their winter tour down under in Perth......

Matt Prior will lead the team, with Stuart Broad also rested.

England's tall trio of bowlers, Chris Tremlett, Boyd Rankin and Steven Finn all get a chance to impress on the bounciest pitch in the southern hemisphere at the Waca.

The game is a three day warm up, with the ground also set to host the third test match between the two sides.

England team v WA Chairman's XI: Root, Carberry, Trott, Bell, Ballance, Stokes, Prior (capt & wk), Rankin, Tremlett, Finn, Anderson.
