England win Warm Up

England beat an Australian Invitational XI in Sydney, to give a boost ahead of the Ashes opener in Brisbane this week. Steven Finn made a late claim to be third seamer in the match, when he took three wickets to help the visitors claim the win.....

Boyd Rankin also chipped in with three wickets, as the pair fight it out with Chris Tremlett for the last bowling slot.

England were then faced with a tricky 148 runs to chase in order to gan victory, but a fine half century from Michael Carberry saw them home with seven wickets to spare.

England 418 & 151-3 beat CA Invitational XI 304 & 261 by seven wickets
