Mahmood signs short term Surrey contract

Surrey have signed Azhar Mahmood as a short term replacement for Saqlain Mushtaq who is on tour with Pakistan till may the 15th.

Surrey have signed Pakistan all-rounder Azhaer Mahmood as a replacment for Saqlain Mushtaq.

Saqlain will be on tour with Pakistan till May the 15th so surrey decided to sigh Mahmood on a short term contract.

Mahmood has played 113 one day internationals and 21 test matches.

It will be a great boost to the club as he is a all-rounder and he may be able to fill the gap left by the sad untimely death of Ben Hollioake.
