Surrey lost by 137 runs in their quarterfinal C and G match with Darbyshire. Darbyshire made 271 all out off their 50 overs but Surrey could only manage 134 all out with only four players reaching double figures.

Surrey won the toss and decided to field and soon Azhar Mahmood had Gait caught behind for naught. Michael Di Venuto and Chris Bassano then put on 50 for the second wicket before Ormond bowled Bassano for 33. Di Venuto then reached 51 before he was caught By Azhar Mahmood off Ormond. Mahmood Kaif then scored 81 and Dominic Hewson chipped In with 34 as Darbyshire reached 271 all out.
Surrey were then quickly reduced to 26 for 4 with Dominic Cork and Kevin Dean each taking two wickets. Graham Thopre and Adam Hollioake then added 40 for the fifth wicket but when Thopre was out for 37, Surrey were 66 for 5. Adam Holliokae quickly followed for 20 and Surrey were 87 for 6. John Batty then scored 28 but when he was out Surrey were 134 all out and Darbyshire won by 137 runs.
Result = Darbyshire won by 137 runs.
