Hollioake returns to lead the Lions to victory.

Adam Hollioake returned as Surrey captain and lead the lions to victory by taking 3 wickets and scoring 15 runs. This win moved Surrey to fifth in the table.

Adam Hollioake returned as Surrey captain and started off with a win against Hampshire in NUL.

Surrey won the toss and decided to bowl and soon had Hampshire in trouble at 39 for 3. But 34 from John Crawley and twenties from Lawrence Prittipaul, Nick Pothas, Will Kandall and Dimitri Mascarenhas helped Hampshire to 178 for 8. Adam Hollioake was hero of the Surrey bowling as he took 3 wickets on his return match. Martin Bicknell and Ed Giddins also took 2 wickets apiece.

Surrey lost 3 early wickets for just 62 runs. But Ian Ward continued his rich vein of form by scoring a fine 51. Nadeem Shahid, Adam Hollioake, John Batty, Martin Bicknell and Ian Salisbury all chipped in with useful knocks to give Surrey a one-wicket victory in a thrilling finish.
