Rain forces draw

Rain meant that only one innings was possible in Surrey’s second pre season friendly against Sussex at Hove. The home side had made 259 for 6 form 50 overs, when the heavens opened and prevented further play.

Rikke Clarke was the pick of the Surrey bowlers as he took 2 for 44 form 10 overs. For Sussex Captain Chris Adams top scored with 91 form just 79 balls while Richard Montgomerie made 61.
