As the dynamic Glenn Maxwell arrives in Yorkshire to add his considerable value to our Twenty20 campaign, the Indian batsman Cheteshwar Pujara departs, after a productive spell for the white rose county. Here underneath are his scores for Yorkshire in the County Championship and a number of tributes on Twitter from his team mates.

From Jack Leaning: "Been awesome to play with @cheteshwar1 for the first few games of the season, top bloke. Safe travels Stevie lad!"

From Will Rhodes: "Witnessed a masterclass from Steve Pujara yesterday!!".

From Jack Brooks: "The nicest man in cricket 'Steve' @cheteshwar1".

From Tim Bresnan: "Had a great time playing with @cheteshwar1 for the first month of the season. Go well master. Hope to catch you soon."

'Steve's' scores were as follows:

versus Worcestershire: 0

versus Nottinghamshire: 57

versus Warwickshire: 23 and 33

versus Hampshire: 18 and 133 not out

Batting average: 52.8
