Rain 'Saves' Yorkshire?

Such has been the dire form of Yorkshire in one-day outings in the last fortnight that perhaps the failure to obtain any positive result from their trips to Warwickshire and Derbyshire in the last few days is itself a positive result!

At least the Tykes have stemmed the flow of defeats, four to be precise, in limited overs commitments and are now unbeaten in their last two one-day matches! All joking aside, the Phoenix need to accrue several wins in order to atone for their early season failures in the Twenty20 and One-Day Cup campaigns. It's a sad indictment of the team that we have had six scheduled one-day matches and have failed to win one of them. Furthermore, now that the brilliant Kane Williamson is back in our midst, it would be an opportune time to be playing cricket and cashing in on his talent, so washouts are not helping the white rose very much at all.
