Another Duckworth-Lewis Outcome

Last week Yorkshire benefited from a Duckworth-Lewis intervention, but this time they were on the receiving end. To be honest, the Phoenix can have no complaints after they mustered a mediocre 134. Only Alex Lees and Jack Leaning threatened to cut loose against Durham. Otherwise, the visitors were thoroughly outplayed. Even Bresnan and young Shaw shipped thirty-three runs from three overs. Although Durham did lose three wickets, one would guess that they would have polished off the required runs, if the weather hadn't spared the away team any more punishment. Yet again, the great Kane Williamson failed to deliver. I seriously think that he needs a spell in the second eleven. As for the Twenty20 Blast, the Tykes will soon be blasted out of it, for sure.
