Guide to Kingston Park

Kingston Park is the home of Newcastle Red Bulls and this guide is to help you to plan and enjoy your visit. Here you will find details on where to sit or stand, how to buy tickets, and most importantly where to get some nosh and a pint. Whether you are a supporter of Newcastle Red Bulls making your first trip to KP, or a visitor from another club, we want to make you very welcome.

We have the choice at Kingston Park of four different stands and a tiny bit of pitch-side terracing. You can wander around most of it so if you have tickets for one stand but want to meet up with friends in one of the bars you will be able to do so easily. There is good disabled access and facilities to the West Stand, and this also houses the corporate areas. We also have a guide for getting to Kingston Park by car or by public transport here.

 

West Stand.

This is the biggest stand along the full length of the pitch, all seating and covered, although right at the front you may get damp on a particularly wet & windy day. The tickets vary in price according to your age category and the area you sit in: Most expensive  are around the half way line, then around the 22, with finally economy class at either end. There is a bar underneath that until recently was the longest bar in England, and two food outlets serving a range of things to keep you going from hot pork sarnies to the usual burgers & chips, and possibly some healthy stuff too.  After most games there is entertainment in the bar including presentations to players and other amusements.

 

South Stand

This is all tiered terracing behind the posts with the luxury of a roof, and is the noisiest stand by far where both locals and visitors can try to shout the roof off.  If you don’t mind standing then this is the best place to be, especially for visiting supporters from other clubs as you can congregate easily at the front from where it is easy for somebody to nip to the bar and get the pints in. There is a large bar underneath

 

East Stand.

This is the original clubhouse with a small amount of seating in the centre and pitch-side terracing either side. Built in 1990 it houses the changing rooms and club offices, ticket office and shop, and the Hiding Place bar which is open only on match days. The terracing allows access right up to the pitch, but be warned that your view could be obstructed by players or officials who are based on the touchline here. 

The Hiding Place bar is a good place to meet up after the game if you fancy a pint & a natter away from the post-match entertainment.

 

North Stand.

Uncovered terracing behind the posts, these would be the cheap seats if only there were some seats. There are however some devotees, they even have their own song:

We are the north stand, the dirty north stand

Nobody loves us, and we don’t care

We have no roof and, we have no toilets

But we follow the Red Bulls everywhere.

Club Shop

If you wish to buy a memento of your visit to Kingston Park then you will find the Club Shop at the entrance to the East Stand from the car park. You can also buy and collect tickets here. Check the club website for when the shop is open but currently the website says this
