Nominations for Craic Supporter of the Season

What makes London Irish so special is the people, both on and off the field. Every year someone from the team has been nominated player of the season. For the first time we're going to take a look at the other side and ask you to vote for your supporter of the season.
This award goes to the supporter who has done exceptional work on behalf of the club, their fellow supporters or a club related good cause.
Without doubt there are some who deserve to be on this list but aren't. These are the people we don't know but who, in very many ways, make a great contribution to the club. As we don't know them we can't include them. There are also those who's contribution to the club has been done quietly, who's efforts have gone unnoticed by the nomination committee.
This has been a very difficult list to draw up, there are indeed so many who have given much to the club and their fellow supporters this season. One person who would by many peoples reckoning be on this list but has been excluded is Marie Hilliard, better known as MulledWineMarie. She was one of those consulted in the process of drawing up this list and has been excluded for that reason.
The nominations for Craic Supporter of the Season 2002/3 are....
Beverley Albutt (Bevers) - Bev literally got on her bike for JC. She organised and took part in a sponsored cycle ride from Sunbury to the Madejski before the first game of the season raising £2720 for the JC fund.
Ken Armstrong (The Pub Landlord) - Ken remained positive, and bullied the rest of us into doing so, through the bleakest of times this season. He organised a JC fund raising month at his pub and paid for a banner which has been widely used throughout the season.
Robin Clive (OxonRob) - Along with Bisach, Rob compiled, edited and organised the printing of the JC Joke Book. Notwithstanding the effort this took he was then instrumental in selling it. A further mention should go to the supreme effort Rob put in to organising the catering at Henley last August.
Martyn Cooper (Eek the Weeble) - Martyn has bared (almost) all this season to raise funds for JC, the sight of him is his tutu is now firmly established in LI lore. Tutu aside, starting with the Alternative Referee Signals, Martyn has kept us all amused this season with a steady supply of humour.
Peter Earnshaw (No Expert) - Peter is one of the unsung heroes of our club. He has been selling JC t-shirts, home and away, rain or shine, throughout the season. He has also, through the year, supplied us with detailed match reports from U19/21 games.
Chris Tampsett (Reading Fatboy) - Whilst we were all in shock at the news of JC and wondering what to do, Chris went ahead an did something. He invested a substantial amount of his own money into getting the JC t-shirts going. Having done this, along with others not mentioned here, he put a lot of effort into selling them.
