News: Heneken Cup Draw 2010/11 - Northampton Saints Fixtures

It's a long Summer, punctuated by the occasional release of news to brighten a slow day. Today is one such - with the long awaited fixture programme to be slotted into the weekends reserved for the pool matches. The hordes of travelling Saints have been awaiting this news with credit cards and flight listings to hand. Here we go.............
The 16th season of European club rugby’s elite tournament kicks-off on the weekend of 8 / 9 / 10 October and climaxes with the final at the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff, on the weekend of 21 / 22 May, 2011. Northampton Saints will be Facing Edinburgh, Cardiff and Castres on the Following dates:

Sorry I must be fick it takes me to the ERC page but all I can see is the last years qf's and lower down the usual w/e of xxx etc thought we knew that much and this would be actual dates times teams??? Help!

Refresh your browser Bob, Dave just rang me with same problem.
But its Castres home on the Friday, Edin away on the Sat in Oct Cardiff home Sat, then away Sunday in Dec, last two in Jan to be confirmed in order but it looks like it may well be the French trip is the last weekend.

The remaining two fixtures will be Edinburgh at home on the weekend of 14/15/16 January, followed by Castres away on 21/22/23 January.

the NNSSC (North Norfolk Saints Club) will have flights and hotel in Edinbro booked this pm £177 +tkt and a few shillings for a couple of shandies and a bag of crisps

Hotel in Castres booked (well, for the Friday & Saturday nights at least!)...& hoping the SSC might run a coach & overnight-stay to Edinburgh??..OK now booked train from N'ton to Edinburgh & 2 nights in Travelodge Edinburgh - so no SSC bus trip for us this time.

Travelodge Edinburgh Central Waterloo Place - its a new one opening next month. £70.00 per room per night.

Am happy to say we are booked into our very good friends for the duration of the Edinburgh weekend. Taxi is already booked from Dunfermline to Murrayfield..........the joys of being Scottish and still having friends up there.

Good to see the planning already in full swing. Is everyone staying in Edinburgh center? And can anyone reccomend some decent rugby orientated pubs? Never to early to sort a bar for the gold, black and green to invade!
