This week's quiz is different - but for Aficionados of "I'm sorry I haven't a clue" it should be a doddle The following definitions are all from "The Irish Medical Dictionary" (Someone will complain!) Fill in the answers - The last one is done to give you an idea. I do have a real Quiz for Monday!!

14.             Impotent                     Distinguished, well  known. 

15.             Labour  Pain               Getting hurt  at  work. 
 

16.             Medical  Staff              A Doctor's  cane. 

17.             Morbid                        A higher offer. 
 

18.             Nitrates                       Cheaper than  day  rates. 
 

19.             Node                            I knew  it. 

20.             Outpatient                  A person who has  fainted. 

21.             Pelvis                          Second cousin to  Elvis. 

22.             Post Operative            A  letter  carrier. 
 

23.             Recovery Room           Place  to do  upholstery.. 

24.             Rectum                        Nearly killed  him. 

25.             Secret ion                    Hiding  something. 

26.             Seizure                        Roman  emperor. 

27.             Tablet                          A small  table. 

28.             Terminal Illness          Getting  sick at the  airport. 

29.             Tumour                       One plus one  more. 

30.             Urine                           Opposite of you're  out.

No idea...Following your example.. could [1] be something to do with Art - studying art? and [11] has to be someone who isnt a friend?

......... probably a million miles away..

As I seem to be alone wit this quiz - I have looked at [14] Impotent .... I am reminded of that old Joke

A guy goes to a doctor's office to get a vasectomy. He shows up in a limo wearing a tuxedo. When it's his turn, the doctor looks at him and says," I've seen a lot of things, but I've never seen a guy coming in all dressed up like that!" And the guy says, " Well, if I'm gonna be im-po-tent, I'm gonna look im-po-tent!"

so.......14, has to be something like celebrated/famous/distinuished words to that effect..

Just a few quickies during lunch (fnar, fnar!). I assume they are supposed to have a medical connection - makes it more difficult.
