Nottinghamshire Norwich Union favourites

Main rivals appear to be Somerset, second favourites at 4-1, and Lancashire, priced at 9-2. Local rivals Derbyshire are quoted at 11-1, whilst newcomers Scotland are rank outsiders at 200-1.

In the County Championship Division One, Notts are unfancied at 14-1 with only Essex (20-1) and Sussex (22-1) at longer odds. Favourites are Surrey, but you won't get rich backing them at a miserly 4-5. In Division Two, Derbyshire are a tempting 16-1 to lift the title. With each-way betting at 1/5th the odds for the first three, these odds look very tempting.

Many supporters will be eagerly awaiting the new Twenty20 evening competition starting in June. Surrey again top the market for this competition at 7-1, with Notts priced at 11-1, closely followed by Derbyshire at 12-1.

In the C&G Cup, Surrey again figure as favourites at 9-2. If you fancy the Scots, you can cash in at 500-1, whilst the local teams are priced at 12-1 for Nottinghamshire and 28-1 for the Derbyshire lads.
