Whittling away at Yorkshire

The weather is at it again as we try to get Yorkshire before they get to the follow on figure. Matt Bulbeck got four and the slows helped out but will there be enough time to get them out and then.....well....get them out again?

We were looking to get among them in the morning session but although Matt Bulbeck took White at 50 and McGrath at 89, he still had to contend with Darren Lehmann. The Aussie boss stood his ground and put on 70 before he became Dutch's first victim of the game with a nifty c&b.

The problem was that the weather was closing in and the Yorkshire batsmen had got the feel for the wicket. Lumb hit 57 before he became the next one to go, to Blackwell LBW. Craven kept up the fight and went ot his 50 before Bulbeck took his fourth with the Yorkshireman adding only one more run.

Then the rain came and mucked the game up. Blakey and Dawson added a few more but we're still four wickets away from putting the home side back in and possibly winning the game. Or letting them off the hook and watching another game move towards a draw.

They need 91 and we need four wickets. If the second happens then it's "Game on"!
